UNO Online

UNO Online is a digital version of the popular card game UNO – a strategy card game first released in 1971 and owned by Mattel. The online version allows players to participate for free via browser or mobile app, playing directly with friends or random players from around the world.

The goal of UNO Online remains the same as the original: to eliminate all cards in hand before your opponent by playing cards of the same color, same number, or same special symbol.

How to play UNO Online?

Basic rules

• Each person starts with 7 cards.
• Play is clockwise. Players must play a card of the same color, same number, or same special symbol as the top card of the open deck.
• If there is no valid card, they must draw 1 card from the face-down deck.

Special cards

• Skip: Skip the next player's turn.
• Reverse: Change the direction of play.
• Draw Two (+2): Force the next player to draw 2 cards and lose their turn.
• Wild: Change color at will.
• Wild Draw Four (+4): Change color + force the opponent to draw 4 cards (only used when there are no more cards of the same color).
• Call “UNO”: When there is 1 card left, the player must press the UNO button – if he forgets and is discovered, he will be penalized by drawing 2 cards.

Tips for playing UNO Online effectively

• Keep the Wild Draw Four card until the end: Use it when the opponent is about to win to “turn the tables”.
• Manage the +2 and +4 cards wisely: Don't use it too early – put pressure on the opponent when they are almost out of cards.
• Keep track of the card colors: Try to keep a variety of cards to react flexibly.
• Press UNO at the right time: Always remember to press the UNO button when there is 1 card left – a small mistake can make you lose!
• Coordinating “traps” in a 4-player room: Sometimes you should “give” your turn to let two other people fight, reducing cards faster.
